The Hagemann-Sutton Special is a project undertaken by Butch Gilbert. The chassis and body were constructed in the mid '50's. The body for a Talbot Lago Formula 1 that was re-bodied as a sports car, and the chassis was a near copy of the Scarab sports racer. The project was never finished. Butch Gilbert started the project in February of 2005 with the intent of racing at the 2005 Monterey Historic Races in August. The project was successful.
